In principle, all committee meetings in the Senate are held in open session. On an exceptional basis, a committee may decide to meet behind closed doors. The Senate endeavours to make the work of the committees as accessible as possible to the public.

Citizens may attend open committee meetings without restriction. However, as space in the various rooms is limited, the Senate broadcasts all debates directly via the website.

The recordings of the meetings can also be viewed again afterwards via the website.
